What is Orchestration?
Also known as: agent orchestration
Orchestration coordinates multiple models, agents and tools so they work together toward a goal, handling sequencing, state and hand-offs.
Real work rarely needs one model call — it needs several agents and tools working in concert. Orchestration is the layer that decides who does what, in what order, and how results flow between them.
It's what lets an AI OS run complex, multi-agent jobs coherently instead of as disconnected one-off prompts.
