What is Model Routing?
Also known as: LLM routing
Model routing is automatically sending each task to the most suitable AI model — balancing quality, speed and cost across multiple providers.
No single model is best at everything. Model routing picks per task: a fast, cheap model for simple work; a frontier model for hard reasoning. The user just states the goal; the system chooses.
