Not as a participant. It works from the recordings and transcripts Google saves to Drive, so recording needs to be on for that meeting.
Do I need a paid Google Workspace plan?
Not for scheduling. Recordings and transcripts are a Workspace feature on Business Standard and above, so summaries depend on your plan.
How is this different from the Google Calendar connector?
Calendar owns the invite and the timing. The Meet connector adds the conference link plus the recording and transcript on top of it.
